About the Charter
The Revised Charter of the City and County of Honolulu is the governing document of the City and County of Honolulu. The preamble states:
We, the people of the City and County of Honolulu,
accepting responsibility to seek to achieve in our time that righteousness by which the life of our land is preserved and to encourage and enable our people to participate in their governance,
do hereby adopt this Charter of the City and County of Honolulu.
The Department of the Corporation Counsel is the Revisor of the Charter. The Revised Charter of the City and County of Honolulu is posted online and may be found

Proposed State Constitutional Amendments
Amendments to the State Constitution are proposed exclusively by the State Legislature. Informational materials on those amendments will be posted when available.
